Triumph Expressions: May 4 ,20113

No More by Leann Mitchell

I went through life, cold and seemingly alone
Sad, abused, forgotten
I wasn’t even safe in my own home
The choices I made weren’t good
I tried with all my might
When you don’t have hope
You go down without a fight
I’ve lost everything I’ve had
My children, belongings, and home
If things were bad before
Now I really was alone
Bad people in my life
And drugs took me over
My luck had all run out
I needed a four-leaf clover
After all was said and done
I realized I had a choice
I didn’t have to let men hurt me
They were pathetic, scared little boys
I picked myself back up
I fought to stay sober
No longer will people hurt me
My old life was now over
Now I hold my head up high
I took the lesson life gave me
I work hard to be a better person
My God, he has saved me

Survive - by TM 2013

Triumphant is some word
Makes me feel like a nerd
But through the tears
I've bottled my tears
To prove I am stronger
I won't suffer any longer
I will use the nerdy word
Even if I sound absurd
I will stand tall
Through it all
I will survive
Be alive
Triumphant!

Triumph of Life, by JC (2013)

A flower in the spring
The sun rising every day
Water flowing through a river bed
Fresh produce at the market
Nice things are all year
But the nicest of them all
The first cry of a new baby
A sick person healed
Happiness in somebody's eyes
Communicating love and gratitude
Things that never let us forget
The never ending triumph of life

A Maze by Shel...7/8/2010

I run in
Circles
Circles
Circles
All
My life

within a cage
free of bars
my prison cell,
cold walls of strife

craving darkness
i fear naught,
it's silent sound
a steely knife

and I find comfort,
Crowd of One,
with each setting
of the sun

then, through the silence,
tender sounds
as passersby
dance 'cross my grounds

while gliding by,
my melded heart
beats within,
though they part.

then left alone
i, standing still,
rooted in
my rocky hill

sensing heat
tears do welt
as icy walls
around me melt

all boundaries now
wearing thin
oh such bliss,
sweet death of sin

love heals all.
conquers none.
Future, Present,
Past, all One

I ran in
Circles
Circles
Circles

All
My Life
such a fight
Just to find me
Hiding in plain sight...

Breaking Free (c) 2013 Angie Crum

For the longest time I was a caterpillar.
Inching my way to find my way.
No longer hiding "me".
I've spent to long in my cocoon.
I'm ready to emerge.
I'm ready to spread my wings.
I'm ready.

  1. Dear Leann. "No more" is powerful. It shows the will-power of a person. We have a choice of our own, our life depends on. Always. You may listen to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZvP6icWO5Kw. You may read the verses in my blog. I was blessed to translate it in English. Thank you.
